Mayville Chapter Joins Knowles 4th of July Parade

The spirit of patriotism was alive and well this 4th of July in Knowles, Wisconsin — and the Mayville Chapter of Wings Over Wisconsin was proud to be part of the celebration!

As part of the annual Independence Day Parade, our chapter joined a wonderful lineup of local organizations, families, and businesses to help commemorate our nation’s founding and connect with the community we proudly serve.

Riding through Knowles in full red, white, and blue, we were thrilled to wave to familiar faces and meet new supporters along the route. Our decorated float celebrated not just the holiday, but also the mission we carry forward every day: wildlife habitat conservation, education, and stewardship of Wisconsin’s natural heritage.

For our chapter, participating in local events like the Knowles parade is about more than just showing up — it's about strengthening our roots in the community, sharing our message, and honoring the values that unite us all: freedom, service, and care for the land we love.

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers of the parade, the residents of Knowles, and all who came out to celebrate the 4th with pride. We were honored to be a part of it, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
