Chapter Youth Events and Heartfelt Thanks: Highlights from the Past Few Months

Getting kids involved in conservation early isn’t just a feel-good goal—it’s how we build the future stewards of our land and wildlife. Youth events give them a chance to connect with nature in real ways, whether they’re holding a fishing pole for the first time or learning how habitat restoration helps birds and deer. It’s also a chance to pass down outdoor traditions, teach responsibility, and spark lifelong curiosity about the natural world.

The best part?

After our recent events, we received a stack of heartfelt thank-you letters—full of thoughtful words from students and parents expressing how much they learned and enjoyed the experience. It’s proof that these experiences leave a lasting impact, and it reminds us why these programs matter so much.
