Driveway improvement project.
These two pictures show the improved driveway and culvert project done by the Kettle Moraine Chapter on their project area located on the Washington County/Fond du Lac County line. The expanded driveway allows for parking of vehicles when the area is being used for their Learn to Hunt program and other activities. The culvert that was repaired had been eroding away so they placed riprap on both sides and improved the road bed. Much of the work was done by Sopinski Trenching and Excavating of West Bend. The owner, Bob Sopinski, is a member of the Kettle Moraine chapter and one of the major donors. Much of the time and Equipment to do the project was donated by Bob's company. The chapter said with donors like Bob we are able to do a lot of projects we would not be able to do.
